Join us on June 20th from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM for one of our most loved events — Hiking with Homeless Dogs at the State Park!
This fun, family-friendly event invites community members of all ages to spend the morning outdoors with our adoptable dogs. Whether you are an experienced hiker or simply enjoy being outside and spending time with dogs, everyone is welcome to participate.
The hike gives our shelter dogs an opportunity for exercise, socialization, and a break from the shelter environment while helping them connect with potential adopters and members of the community. You may even meet your perfect four-legged companion along the trail.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for themselves. Water for the dogs is always appreciated as well. Leashes for the dogs will be provided.
A map of the meetup location within the State Park will be posted prior to the event.
This event is free to attend, and donations are always welcome to help support the care of our homeless pets.
We hope you will join us for a morning of fresh air, wagging tails, and community support for shelter pets.
