All Kind Animal Initiative’s mission is to improve animal welfare through community resources, education and shelter care.
Our Vision
Fostering a culture of kindness as we transform our community into one of dignity, respect and wellbeing for people, pets and all kind.
Who We Are
At All Kind, we believe animal welfare is strongest when we support both ends of the leash. People and pets are connected, and when we support the people who care for animals, we create better outcomes for everyone.
We approach our work with kindness, understanding, and a commitment to making it easier for people to provide the best possible care for their animals.
Preventing homeless pet overpopulation is an important part of that work. Spay and neuter is one of the most effective ways to reduce the number of animals entering shelters, and we believe these services should be affordable and accessible to everyone in our community. We are working toward expanding access to spay and neuter while supporting efforts like vaccination and microchipping clinics, TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return), and other programs that help pets stay healthy and safe.
We also believe that keeping pets in loving homes is just as important as finding homes for those in our shelter. Sometimes families need a little extra support to navigate a difficult season, find veterinary care, work through a behavior challenge, or get the supplies they need. By connecting people with resources, expanding foster opportunities, and creating more pathways to support, we can help more pets remain with the people who love them.
Our work is about more than sheltering animals. It is about strengthening the bond between people and pets and building a community where both ends of the leash can thrive. By listening to our community, meeting people where they are, and working together to remove barriers, we can create lasting change for animals and the people who care for them in Abilene.
